Padjadjaran English Competition 2023 registration is now open for high school and university students! Bringing the theme “Inside the Noble Minds,” Padjadjaran English Competition (PEC) 2023 aims to become a place for every young mind who wants to voice their perspective on various issues but have not yet known the platform to deliver it. PEC wants to show that there lies an untapped reservoir of ideas awaiting their moment in the sun, and that’s why PEC has become a place to accommodate different minds.
Just like how every mind has different views, we also have judges who come from different backgrounds and have undeniable skills. This event is set to be a confluence of discerning intellect and insightful guidance. We are proudly introducing Nadira Dhaifina as one of the storytelling judges, an alumnus of Universitas Padjadjaran who is currently working as a senior copywriter at an aqua-tech startup in Asia. Alongside, we have Randy Ridwansyah, M. Hum. for the speech competition, who is a lecturer in the English Studies program at Universitas Padjadjaran and is also an alumnus who has published many scientific journals.
In poetry reading, we have Marselina Viase, an experienced writing, literature, music, and teaching professional who currently works as a brand digital lead at Sekolah Pelita Harapan. And lastly, in the essay competition, we have Siti Nugraha Mauludiah, an alumnus of Universitas Padjadjaran who went on to study at Columbia University and is currently working as an advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
There are many more judges with outstanding backgrounds and expertise to go. Each judge brings a unique perspective, enriching the experience for the participants and affirming the value of every distinct voice and idea that will resonate within this theme of noble minds. Their involvement guarantees a competition that champions creativity, intellectual growth, and a brighter future for all involved.
